Since 1950, IES has been building quality study abroad programs and introducing U.S. students to new places, studies, and ways of thinking. A non-profit educational organization, IES offers high academic standards and extensive financial aid in almost 30 programs throughout the world.

IES Dublin offers a number of excellent placements with organizations representative of Dublin's exciting political, literary, and business life. Internships are offered both semesters as academic options earning IES credit. They feature a strong academic component that includes an academic seminar, tutorial, or directed independent study, and an evaluative report from the supervisor of the organization offering the internship. The tutor assigns readings specific to each student's internship field and supervises the student's independent research. Students are expected to keep a work journal and submit a final report that analyzes and evaluates the activities performed during the internship in the context of management and organizational behavior.
