The IES Abroad Beginning & Intermediate Spanish Program is ideal if you are interested in building your Spanish language skills through study in one of Latin America's most exciting cities. The program gives you the opportunity to examine Latin American studies in a wide range of disciplines and to immerse yourself in the culture of Argentina.
Founded by the Spanish in 1536, Buenos Aires today is the second largest city in South America. Political turmoil in the twentieth century has given way to a vibrant array of arts and neighborhoods as well as a growing international business sector. One in three Argentines lives in or around this city, making Buenos Aires truly the center and heart of Argentina.
- Improve your Spanish skills by enrolling in a Spanish language course specially tailored to your skill levels. Optional reading and writing Spanish workshops are also available for Beginning & Intermediate students.
- Take IES Abroad Area Studies courses in English in a wide range of disciplines.
- Enroll in university courses at IES Abroad Buenos Aires partner universities:
* Universidad Museo Social Argentino (UMSA)
* Instituto Universitario Nacional del Arte (IUNA)
- Internship seminar with exiciting internship opportunities in the Arts, Business, Public Health, Government, and Education.
