IEM's study abroad program in Vietnam will be housed in Vietnam's capital city of Hanoi at the Center for International Culture Studies in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at the Hanoi National University, a leading national university in its field. The College of Social Sciences and Humanities is located in the southwest portion of Hanoi in the Thanh Xuan District, with access to ample bus lines. Today, Hanoi is Vietnam's stylish and gracious capital city that retains a unique old world charm and some of Asia's most striking colonial architecture. Hanoi maintains a number of traditional buildings such as temples and pagodas, along with lakes and other natural features, boulevards, and French colonial style buildings.
IEM's Semester and Summer short-term programs can be considered standalone programs or can be combined. For example, students participating in the Spring semester program have the option to extend their study abroad experience by adding one of the summer short-term programs at the completion of the semester. Likewise, students participating in the Summer short-term programs may add the Fall semester program at the completion of the short-term program.
