  • Description

    As a certified TEFL English teacher, you can earn up to 230,000 to 255,000 Yen per month (2,852 - 3,162 USD) with up to 19 days holiday and every weekend free!. This means there's plenty of time and money for sake, sushi, and exploration after work. Ready to go but not sure how long you can go for? Not a problem! Contracts vary from just 2 months to 12 months depending on when you depart.

    Walk around the pristine streets and grand shopping centers, and you'll never be far from a sight that will get your heart racing whether it's the magnificent imperial palace or a man in a green dress casually shopping for food.

    With subways criss-crossing the cities and the famous bullet trains speeding through the countryside at up to 300km/h, getting around is easy. Wherever you're headed, expect to get there in a comfortable and efficient style that's unique to this enigmatic country.

    * A cast iron contract with a reputable school
    * There will be 30 to 40 students per class and you will be teaching students between 6 and 18 years old.
    * The main intakes are March and August. If you travel to Japan mid/late March your contract will start in April once you have completed the orientation and training and if you travel mid/late August your contract will start in September after the training. Teachers arriving in March or August will know the exact location of their placements. (Due to visa regulations, US and Canadian applicants can only apply for positions in the main intake months of March and August.)

  • Qualifications

    * 12 years of education in an English speaking institution.
    * TEFL qualification (100-hour or 120-hour TEFL course recommended).
    * University degree holder.
    * Minimum age requirement 21 years of age.
    * Be able to commit to the duration of the contract. First Contract is approximately 7 to 11 months, depending on the Start Date. There is no maximum tenure at Interac and contracts may be renewed annually subject to contract renewal with the client and satisfactory performance.
