International Business and Management Studies at HZ University of Applied Sciences focuses on entrepreneurship and cross-cultural management. Students come from all over the world and they gain extensive international experience by studying in other countries for three semesters. Students will acquire techniques and skills in the field of business, management, sales and marketing as well as financial management in an international environment. Wide knowledge of organisations, business and international trade will place the IBMS graduate as a negotiator on management level, both internal as external.
The course called 'Student Company' in the second year of study gives students all the practical business tools they need. In a group of 4 to 6, students will set up and run their own company for a year. In the third year students may choose for a semester study at a partner school abroad. In the third and in the fourth year of study, students have one semester of work placement in a company.
