From stunning beaches, to amazing geothermal activity, to some of the best ski slopes south of the equator, you can experience it all! You will remember this placement for the rest of your life!

HTE Internships offer a full-service programme, designed to give you help and support from the time you apply, to the time you hop on the plane to return home. You will receive guidance applying for your New Zealand work visa.

All tourism placements are paid and last for between 6 and 12 months. You can start anytime of the year and your placement will be confirmed before you depart. The majority of tourism internships and graduate placements start in June, July and August each year.

Paid tourism positions are available in tourist attractions, tourism operators and advisors, ski fields and 4 or 5 star hotels located throughout New Zealand.

Highlights

Queenstown is often a first choice for applicants as it is a tourism mecca, boasting extreme sports such as bungy jumping, jet boating and river rafting. You can go horse trekking, taste the exceptional food and wine, go for a cruise on the lake, play golf or go boutique shopping... no wonder Queenstown is so popular! Most Queenstown placements start in July to coincide with the Winter Festival.
