The New Zealand hospitality programme is the most flexible when it comes to starting positions, or movement within your internship. This is your opportunity to secure a great hospitality internship or job for 6 or 12 months.
We are talking to hotels in New Zealand now who want quality workers and internship students to start in 2012 and we already have a number of applications to start early to mid 2012.

* Programme details:
The New Zealand Hospitality Internship programme is a full-service internship programme designed to give you help and support from the time you apply to the time you hop on the plane to return home after completing your hospitality internship.
You will be supported by the HTE Internships UK office from enquiry through to applying and departing for New Zealand. At that stage you will have full support from our New Zealand team who are based in Wellington. The New Zealand team is there to ensure your work and time in New Zealand is successful. The NZ team also provides 24 hour support should you need it.
- Getting international Hospitality experience on your CV
- Working in a 4 or 5 star hotel
- Being in one of the most sort after tourism destinations in the world
- Being in a warm climate
- Be a current hospitality or tourism student
- Be a requirement of your studies to undertake a hospitality or tourism internship
If not a current hospitality or tourism student then you will need to:
- Have previous hospitality experience (F&B, housekeeping, front desk, porter)
- Be eligible for a New Zealand Working Holiday Visa

What is included before you depart?
* Paid placement, confirmed before you depart to New Zealand
* Phone interview tips and training if needed
* CV/ Resume and cover letter writing assistance
* Assistance looking at flights and insurance to New Zealand
* Assistance opening a New Zealand bank account before you depart
* New Zealand arrival instructions emailed to you before you depart including:
- New Zealand airport transfer details
- First two nights accommodation in New Zealand details
- Details of your first day at work
- Employer contact details
- Pre-departure checklist
- Contact details for your New Zealand support team
* Assistance applying for your New Zealand work visa
* If the internship is part of your studies, we will liaise with your placement office. It is your responsibility to ensure the programme meets the requirements of your university.
What is included when you are in New Zealand?
* Airport transfer to your accommodation
* First two nights accommodation paid for
* Internship handbook and welcome pack
* Full support, 24 hours from the New Zealand team
Paid internship working a minimum of 30 hours per week on average with overtime in the peak tourism months.
