From Manila by plane:
Catch a flight bound for Kalibo or Caticlan in Aklan province. If you take the Kalibo flight, you'd have to catch a shuttle ride from the airport to Caticlan. The road trip lasts about two hours. If you take the flight to Caticlan, make your way to the jetty from the airport. When you reach the jetty, purchase passage to Boracay Island via small boats.
From Manila by ferry:
MBRS Shipping Lines has two boats plying the route from Manila to Caticlan. The ships leave Manila's North Harbor, Pier 8, every Friday, Monday and Wednesday at 5PM. Arrival time in Caticlan is the next day, between 6AM and 8AM. Upon arrival at Caticlan, follow the instructions above.
From Manila by car:
Caticlan, the entry point for Boracay, can be reached also by private cars or air-conditioned buses, via the Strong Republic Nautical Highway, stretching from Batangas in Luzon to Cagayan de Oro in Mindanao. A RoRo (Roll On - Roll Off) vessel leaves Batangas daily at 8:30AM to Calapan, Mindoro. From there drive your car or board a mini-van or air-conditioned bus to Roxas, Mindoro, where another RoRo vessel leaves at 2PM for Caticlan, where the boat arrives at 6PM. Private cars can be parked at the one of the many secured parking lots for free. No cars are allowed on Boracay Island.
