Your job would be:

* Help with processing the breakfast, lunch and dinner
* Clean tables and stools
* Set the table
* Broom the restaurant
* Do the dishes
* Get new drinks or orders from the guests
* Help with the groceries in Santiago (this takes mostly the whole day)
* Shuttle service to and from Santa Catalina (where you normally can stay and surf, too)
* Coordinate reservations of the guests
* If you are gifted, some handicraft work
* If you are more the artist, some paintings or mosaics
* Other small works

Highlights

We live here at the end of the road from Sona to Santa Catalina. Santa Catalina is famous for surfing and diving and is approx. 10 kilometers away. There you find some international restaurants, internet cafe, dive center, supermarket, surf shop. Here you also find the surf spots that make Santa Catalina famous. Nightlife is not really big here!

Qualifications

We look (min. for 6 weeks) for a motivated, spontaneous, hard-working, adventurous, open-hearted, friendly, cultivated and autonomous person who can think about helping us some time with our small hotel. We would need your help in the kitchen, to do shuttle services to Santa Catalina (that's why you would need a driver's license) and if you are a bit of an artist, we always need some wood work, mosaics, paintings and so forth for the hotel and the rooms.

Salary/Pay

We just opened our hotel so we are sorry that we can't pay a monthly salary. On the contrary, we have to take a small mite from you. Per meal you eat in the restaurant we would charge you USD 1. Drinks you get for the cost price (soda USD 0.35, beer USD 0.50). We offer you free board, you could cook for yourself in the community kitchen, you can get a surfboard to use, a lot of fun and a nice and young team. Of course we would share the tip with you. You can take the horses for a ride whenever you like and you can use the Internet for free. We are also happy to write you an internship certificate when you leave.
