Hotel Cabin opened in May 1997 and was completely renovated at the beginning of 2007, Hotel Cabin prides itself on offering our guests warm, friendly hospitality and a high level of comfort at affordable prices.

We offer three different types of rooms. The standard rooms are the rooms that the hotel already had to offer but by offering the deluxe and superior rooms we can now serve a more diverse group of tourists. The Main difference between the standard rooms and the deluxe rooms is that the deluxe rooms are bigger and come with a bathtub with shower. The Superior rooms are the best rooms in the hotel. They are all situated on the hotel’s 7th floor and offer a magnificent view of the city or the ocean. To ensure that the guest enjoys the view fully these rooms come with big windows. Furthermore, these rooms come with free wireless internet, a refrigerator, a tee – and coffee maker and a hairdryer.

While many of the rooms offer excellent scenic views, 23 of them have windows facing directly onto the hotel corridor. This has proved a particularly welcome option among those visitors who have found it difficult to sleep in the brightness of Reykjavík’s long summer nights.

The reception area is opened round the clock, and our friendly team of staff is always on hand to ensure that your stay is as pleasant as possible.

Bright and comfortable, Hotel Cabin is located within easy reach of Reykjavík’s city centre, with its vibrant nightlife and excellent choice of restaurants featuring cuisine from many different countries. At the same time, it is an easy five-minute walk from the city’s main park, swimming pool and outdoor recreation area.

Location

Hotel Cabin is well situated in Borgartún, the heart of the business district in Reykjavík. There is a beautiful view over the bay nearby and a great mountain view. Just a short distance away is the city´s main shopping streat and Kringlan shopping mall.

It is very easy to get to the hotel from Keflavík airport. The easiest way is to take the Flybus that leaves Keflavík airport regularly and takes you to Hotel Cabin. It takes about 50 - 75 minutes to go with the Flybus from Keflavík Airport to Hotel Cabin. When you want to get back to Keflavík airport the Flybus will pick you up right at the hotel.
