10 minutes' drive from Gouyave, (banks, groceries, beach), 20 minutes' from St.George's, the main fishing town on the west coast. Local attractions - waterfalls and a nutmeg processing station.
2 rooms available in 3 bedroom house with a beautiful view of the hills and the sea. Very basic furnishings, esp. kitchen and bathroom, but comfortable living area with TV, homely atmosphere. Nice back verandah with tables and view. Front verandah looks onto main road, but not busy as is quite high up in the village. Bus service from outside house. Two double bedrooms available, with double bed in each. Older retired policeman as host, mainly lives in. Would suit young backpackers, either couples or young men. Meals are not included, but host does enjoy a good local cook-up. Meals can be picked up from young lady further down in the village or delivered to the house at reasonable cost. Host is also taxi driver so can arrange tours of island.

Location
Grenada is approximately 12 degrees north of the Equator in the southern part of the Eastern Caribbean. Grenada's airport is the recently-renamed Maurice Bishop International Airport, in the SW of the island.
Flights from the US and Canada
- Daily flights from San Juan and Miami on American Airlines (American Eagle)
- Delta has direct flights from New York every Wednesday and Saturday
Passengers flying with Delta will be able to make connections to more than 360 destinations, using the airline's hubs in Atlanta, Cincinnati, Detroit, Memphis, Minneapolis-St. Paul, New York-JFK, Salt Lake City, Amsterdam and Tokyo-Narita, as well as its Northwest subsidiary and Delta Connection carriers.
- Weekly flights from Toronto on Air Canada from December to April
- Zoom and Skyservice airlines have regular direct flights to Grenada from Canada, at good rates, but they must be booked through a travel agent. Titan Tours (Skyservice) and GG Tours (Zoom Airlines) will have information.
- West Jet operates a flight from Toronto to Barbados with connections on LIAT to Grenada year round. -
