You probably know the concept of being an au pair. "Homestay China" relies on this concept but also creates its own unique style. In the western world many au pairs are being hired to clean the house, do the laundry, go shopping, cook food and take care of the children. With a new concept "Homestay China" developed the au pair program into a cultural and language exchange program. Most of the housework is done by the Chinese family's cleaning staff, kitchen staff or nanny. All the au pairs have to do is absorb as much Chinese culture as they want and introduce their cultural experience to the host family.

"Homestay China" provides different terms of this cultural and language exchange program, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months. Choose one you want to take part in, and we will match a suitable family for you before you have an internet contact with the family. Try it and you will like to do it.

Homestay China is providing unique programs for young people all over the globe!

Young person will live with our carefully selected host families in China, Kunming. All you have to do is being part of the Chinese culture and introduce your culture in exchange. The families will provide you a great environment to learn the Chinese language and culture. Most of our families love going traveling and au pairs will be participating in wonderful journeys throughout Asia.

Besides learning Chinese with a host family, Homestay China provides you free Chinese language and culture courses. You will be learning and experiencing Chinese language and culture with other foreigners in one of our professional language and culture centers.

Most of our families are located in the heart of South-China, where the weather is wonderful, food is delicious, and a wide range of Chinese culture and nature is welcoming our au pairs. Kunming and Homestay China invites everybody to become part of a great and unique culture and language exchange program!

Qualifications

You can apply if you:

- Are 18-29 years old
- Are in good health and physically fit
- Are a high school graduate
- Speak fluent English
- Have a clear criminal record
- Enjoy culture and language exchange
