High Holdings has lots to offer. The house is set on a breezy ridge with views of the Caribbean Sea. There is a landscaped tropical garden full of colorful flowers, tall variegated shrubs and elegant trees to provide shady places. We have a sundeck and a heated pool plus a patio and lounge bar area which looks out on the garden and beyond over a beautiful un-spoilt green landscape to the sea. Inside there is a lounge and dining room but often guests prefer to have their meals outside on the patio, shaded by a large umbrella during the day. Candle light dinners are served there too giving a soft romantic touch to the evening.

The spacious bedrooms have big double beds and are fully suited for all your needs. They have air conditioning and ceiling fans for night time comfort and bathroom facilities with baths and showers. All accommodation is to a very high standard and we aim to give all our guests a high level of cheerful friendly service to make sure they have an enjoyable and relaxing holiday in Barbados. We offer our rooms on a bed and breakfast basis and provide a full cooked breakfast every morning. We can also offer lunch and evening meals with fresh locally produced food prepared to your requirements. Drinks of all types are available as well.

Barbados is a place where Caribbean dream holidays come true. Wonderful beaches with endless stretches of fine white sand lapped by the warm waters of the Caribbean sea.
Beautiful countryside with rolling sugarcane fields, banana groves and towering palms.
But there is more to Barbados for as well as basking in the sun, swimming in its turquoise seas, relaxing on a catamaran cruise or simply resting in a beachside bar.

Getting to Barbados

Plane
The Sir Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI) is located in Christ Church, Barbados and serves as a gateway to many Caribbean islands and places further away in North America and Europe. Leeward Islands Air Transport (LIAT) has a second hub here (after Antigua) with flights throughout the Caribbean between Barbados and the Dominican Republic. The island is served well by many airlines from Canada and the United States and especially from the United Kingdom with at least 5 or 6 airlines flying there directly from London, Manchester and Birmingham. Direct flights include those from Frankfurt and Milan as well.

By Boat
There has been talk about new high speed ferries from Barbados to islands like Saint Lucia, Grenada and Saint Vincent, but up until now they stay rumours. From October 2009, BEDY Ocean Lines, should had started operating a ferry for residents only, connecting Barbados with Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent. The start of the shedule is however delayed.
