200 acres of award-winning architecture and landscaping
more than 50 academic, athletic and residential buildings
a nationally recognized arboretum with 400 species of trees and shrubs, a 3.5-acre duck pond, gardens and wooded areas.
Recent campus additions include The Marian E. Koshland Integrated Natural Sciences Center and The Douglas B. Gardner '83 Integrated Athletic Center. The College is currently constructing two new student residences: Kim Hall and Tritton Hall.
The Honor Code
Guided by the College's Honor Codeone of the oldest in the country - Haverford students demonstrate an awareness for the greater good in how they work, study, socialize, debate and resolve conflict.
Our students are entrusted with freedom and responsibility from their first days on campus - an act of trust that aims to develop the whole person and create a lasting bond between the individual and the institution.
What Fords Take with Them
Students leave Haverford with an increased sense of independence, curiosity and confidence, as well as lasting bonds with friends and faculty. Whether they go on to advanced education, the workforce, travel, or public service, they leave grounded and well-equipped for rich, dynamic lives.

We are one of the premier liberal arts colleges in the United States devoted to providing a liberal arts education in the broadest sense. The College's education, based on a rich academic curriculum at its core, is distinguished by a commitment to excellence and a concern for individual growth. Haverford has chosen to remain small and to foster close student/faculty relationships to achieve these objectives. The full resources of the College, in and out of the classroom, are designed to promote the intellectual and personal growth of students. Preparing students for life and leadership in a complex, multicultural world is at the core of the College's mission.
