Description

Our TESOL/TEFL/TESL Certificate Course is a 120-hour course which can be finished within one month. It is one of the few courses in the Philippines and is offered by Harvest Christian School International (HCSI) at a very reasonable price. The course is offered in two (2) types: 1) On-site Training; 2) Online/Distance Training. The On-site Training is conducted in the campus and school facilities of the school in Mabolo, Cebu City, Philippines. The Online/Distance TESOL/TEFL Training Program is offered to provide opportunities to Filipino professionals all over the Philippines and abroad who cannot attend the On-site Training for reasons of work and distance.

The Online/Distance Training is in accordance to the pace of the participant. Harvest Christian School International of Cebu, Inc.has been in the forefront of providing training to teachers to teach English as a second language since 2004. It has already produced substantial TESOL alumni who are now working as ESL teachers in Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, China, Hongkong, Middle East, Taiwan, Indonesia, Japan, Papua New Guinea, etc.

The school and its TESOL/TEFL/TESL Certificates are recognized worldwide by employers being a real school with a real physical campus in Cebu City, Philippines. It is a Member School of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA. It is accredited for Educational Excellence by the National Association of Private Schools (NAPS), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. It has linkages with various colleges and universities worldwide. Highlights

Aside from TESOL/TEFL/TESL Certificate Course, the school also offers ESL courses to various nationalities such as Koreans, Chinese, Europeans, Japanese, etc. in its physical campus in Cebu City, Philippines. It also offers Special English Language Immersion Program (SELIP) courses, Regular Basic Education Courses from Pre-School to High School (in-campus and homeschooling or distance learning programs), Performing Arts, Speech and Business Certificate Courses.

Since the Philippines is a developing country, our FEE for the course is socialized as follows:
For Filipino Citizens: (within the Philippines)
P 9,990.00 pesos for online/distance training (with tutor support)
P 12,990.00 pesos for tesol/tefl - combo program
P 14,990.00 pesos for on-site training
For Foreigners :
USD 250 for online/distance training (with tutor support)
USD 400 for tesol/tefl - combo program (with tutor support)
USD 500 for on-site training

Note:
- Enrollment to the On-site Training should be done at least one (1) month before the scheduled starting date.
- The school reserves the right to cancel any scheduled On-site TESOL training/course should the desired number of participants are not achieved.
- Participants are responsible for their own housing or hotel accommodation, transportation and meals for the duration of the training.

Schedule of Online/Distance Training:
Enrollment is anytime during the year. Start of class is upon receipt of first training modules and can be done at home, in the work place or anywhere. Submission of worksheets or work done maybe made through e-mail, by post or personally to the school. The training can be completed from within two (2) weeks or less or within six (6) months from receipt of the first modules depending on the pace and focus of the participants.

For Filipino participants located in the Philippines, airfreight or postage in sending the Certificate to them are free. However, for Filipino participants located outside the Philippines, the school will charge an appropriate fee for the airfreight cost or postage in sending the Certificate.

Qualifications

Admission Requirements:
To enroll in the course, the Filipino participant must be a college graduate of any four-year bachelor's degree course, must be proficient in the English language both written and oral. For participants who are native speakers of English, completion of Level 12 or High School or International Baccalaureate Degree is required for admission. A transcript of records and a 2X2 ID picture is required upon enrollment.
