Close to World Heritage Site Horyuji Temple
Founded by Prince Shotoku of Nara, who is attributed with having introduced Buddhism to Japan, Horyuji is one of Japan's most ancient temples and is recognised as having some of the world's oldest wooden buildings. It is a highly popular destination not only for foreign tourists but Japanese as well, especially those interested in it's unique architecture. (Approx. 15 mins. by bus or bicycle)

We can be easily reached via Japan Rail (JR) the national rail network. JR is usually the most convenient network for major sightseeing destinations around Japan. Special discounts may be gained by purchasing a JR pass if you plan to travel extensively.
