Description

Greenheart Travel's Homestay Program focuses exclusively on the short-term homestay experience. Participants gain special insight into the host country's society through experiencing daily life, customs, and values. Welcoming host families provide room and board and friendship for one to four weeks. Participants will be received as a member of the family and will be involved in the daily activities of that family. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore the host community independently.

Greenheart Travel is a division of the Center for Cultural Interchange. Founded in 1985, the Center for Cultural Interchange (CCI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of cultural understanding, academic development and world peace. Greenheart is CCI's way of promoting the health and welfare of the earth and its people through cultural exchange, ethical travel, responsible consumerism, and community service.
