  • Description

    In cooperation with the provincial education department, volunteers have started working in local schools in Samraong, the capital of Oddar Meanchey, and in the surrounding villages. The school buildings are in poor conditions and thus volunteers are needed not only for teaching activities but also for basic renovations of the school.

    As a medical volunteer, some of your activities may include:
    - Basic construction/painting of the health centers
    - HIV/AIDS awareness raising campaigns
    - Work with the local medical staff (for those with relevant training)

    As a volunteer you have the unique opportunity to experience the country on a very real, local level. In your free time you have the opportunity to indulge in Cambodian fare, explore the countryside, and make friends with locals.
