  • Description

This project offers a wide array of options in which volunteers can provide relief to impovershed, Argentinian families. In the Patagonia project, we offer a program to volunteer at a school, doing anything from school support to farm work. In the Buenos Aires program, there are several projects in which you can participate:

    - Volunteering at an orphanage
    - Volunteering at a day care center
    - Volunteering at a community center in a shantytown
    - Volunteering at a soup kitchen
    - Volunteering at a center for children with HIV
    - Volunteering teaching English/homework help with children
    - Volunteering teaching English to adults
    - Volunteering at a sustainable garden

  • Highlights

This project allows you to immerse yourself in the rich Argentinian culture. Buenos Aires is a wonderful city to volunteer and learn Spanish, and is becoming an increasingly popular location for foreign students and young people traveling abroad. From the delicious cuisine to swanky tango dancing, there is much to explore in Buenos Aires beyond your volunteer placement.

Patagonia is located in the southern most region of South America and is a notoriously beautiful region geographically. You'll have the opportunity to explore and marvel at the placid lakes, snow-capped mountains, and abundant wildlife.

Learn to dance tango with the free tango lessons included in the program!
