  • Description

    Through this volunteer program, you will focus your volunteer efforts on improving the day to day lives of Thai Orphans from the Singburi region. Volunteer duties include:

    * Informal teaching and assisting with school work
    * After school activities such as sports, arts workshops and games
    * Organic gardening
    * Initiating special environmental awareness campaigns like Clean up the Orphanage
    * Maintenance of the orphanage buildings and grounds
    * Renovation and light construction projects

    Additionally, each month a unique volunteer project will be offered for all participants involved in this initiative.

    During your stay you will live in our beautiful eco campus about 15 minutes outside of town.

  • Highlights

    During the program volunteers will receive cultural tours around Singburi, Lopburi, and Ayutthaya. Thai language, culture and cooking classes are also offered. On the weekends volunteers are encouraged to travel to places of interest in Thailand. There are local coordinators on site that are happy to assist you with travel plans.

  • Qualifications

    - Minimum age 17 (it is possible to arrange a family package)
    - Good level of English
    - Motivation to work with children and meet new cultures
    - Able to work in hot and humid climate
    - Full travel and medical insurance
    - Immunizations (please consult your doctor)

    - Accommodation: Eco lodge campus with double rooms
    - Food: 3 Thai Cuisine meals a day, 2 meals per day during the weekend.
    - Airport pickup: Included on arrival when working for 2 weeks or more
    - Excursions: Local cultural tours in the area
    - Orientation kit: Full project details will be sent following registration
    - Training: Pre-departure preparation and training in Sing Buri
    - Support: Local in-country team and 24hr emergency support
