Description

We are looking for strong Christian teachers, open to serve as a missionary and teacher. We give you the opportunity to teach in another country and to experience the culture of Costa Rica! It is your choice to rent an apartment or live with a Costa Rican Family.

The school day schedule is from 8am to 2pm, Monday through Friday. The school calendar year starts at the beginning of February through the end of June for the first semester, with July off for a mid year vacation. The second semester starts in the beginning of August and finishes in December before Christmas vacation. During the first semester, there is a week of vacation during Holy Week.

Highlights

We are a Christian school that is focused on training tomorrows' leaders. Several of our students are Pastors' and Missionaries' kids. Our three major focuses are: Christianity, English, and excellent education.

We are located in Heredia, the nearest city to San Jose. Our group of students is close to 100, from Kindergarten to high school. We have a great working environment.

Qualifications

Those who apply to be missionary teachers are required to provide references from their church and pastors. A strong Christian with a good character and open to serve as a missionary teacher and to attend church while they live in Costa Rica. Missionary teachers are encouraged to raise extra support to enable them to be free to serve in this teaching ministry.

The teachers who come as missionary teachers are required to commit for at least one school year, covering two semesters. The first semester begins the first week of February and continues until the first week of July. The second semester begins the last week of July and continues until the second week of December.
