  • Description

Nepal is a developing country where more than 40% of the total population lives below the most basic poverty line. Thousands of small children are deprived of educational opportunities in Nepal because of the many social issues and the lack of schooling opportunities. Volunteers will assist at understaffed and under resourced schools by teaching English or work on community education projects in a variety of locations across the country.

On arrival volunteers will have an orientation in Kathmandu and during this time you will live with a host family, learn basic Nepali and explore the Kathmandu Valley. Optional side trips, such as trekking, rafting and a jungle safari are also available.

  • Highlights
