GSC International Health Internship Program (6/25/07-8/26/07)

Thailand is unlike anywhere else because of its unique culture, food, and attractions and I'm convinced I chose the best program for my interests. The GSC host staff takes tremendous care of their volunteers, and the Health Internship Program helped me accomplish my goals of immersing myself in Thai culture while learning about their health care system and aiding the local community. Additionally, the host family I stayed with was very genuine and treated me like I was their son, and I continue to keep up with them via email. After this experience I hope to someday go back to Thailand and visit many of the friends I made.
