Learn Swahili and visit the open-air bazaars in the colorful Nairobi. You will engage yourself in a wonderful culture through community service in the rural villages and will have the chance to visit one of the premier wildlife parks of the world - Masai Mara.
Kenya's mysterious Rift Valley is said to be the birthplace of humankind. Traveling through the great expanse of the Serengeti plains is like no other journey on earth. Here among the soft prairie grass and acacia trees, elephant, lion, giraffe, zebra and gazelle roam free. Blending in with this abundant wildlife are over 40 indigenous African tribes and others of Indian, English and Dutch ancestry. Today, as always, Kenya remains true to its spirit of harambee, or "community".
