  • Description

Have you ever wanted to travel, volunteer & experience other cultures, but didn't know how or where to go? Global Humanitarian Adventures (GHA) has the answer.

Working in partnership with several service agencies, we provide endless volunteer opportunities in Panama for all budgets & interests. Regardless of your time, talents, or treasures - GHA has a place for you either in the magnificent mountains of Boquete or the sun-kissed islands of Bocas del Toro. Whether you are looking to work in the areas of - childcare, education, skills training for adults, community clean-up, indigenous needs, climate change as it affects agriculture, medical services, disaster relief, or even helping build safe playgrounds...GHA has an opportunity for you in "The Volunteer Revolution."

    Programs:

    Extended Stay
The "Extended Stay" is for those who plan to stay for a while. Placements are from 2-24 weeks. Participants must be self-motivated, independent & flexible. As needs are continuously changing, our volunteers must be able to handle such situations. Once a volunteer is placed in a particular project, it becomes their responsibility. (changing programs after being placed takes additional time & resources.)

    Campus Break
The "Campus Break" expeditions are for those traveling during university holidays and wish to combine a volunteer service experience with some fun and adventure. These expeditions are planned by our staff to run during major campus breaks throughout the year. Please contact us today to create your experience.

For a full list of programs please see our website.
