The Fish Program challenges the privatization of our ocean resources, educates the public to promote sustainable seafood consumption, and fights for the interests of small fishermen and coastal communities which deliver consumers safe and healthy seafood. The fish program is currently accepting applications for an advocacy and research internship.
Advocacy and Research Internship Food Program
The advocacy and research - food program intern will work directly with the food team to challenge factory farms and other industrialized agriculture, and promote local, sustainable food systems. Additionally, the intern will work closely with the grassroots organizing team on our 2009 Child Nutrition Reauthorization campaign.
Grassroots Organizing & Advocacy Internship Water Program
The Water Program fights to protect water as a public resource rather than a commodity sold to the highest bidder. The water program intern will assist in the campaign for more support for our public water systems, while exposing the myths and dangers of the bottled water industry.
Get involved as an intern with this leading consumer advocacy organization that runs dynamic, cutting edge campaigns that challenge the corporate control and abuse of our food and water resources, empower people to take action and transform the public consciousness about what we eat and drink. Since 2005, they have won significant victories to protect our food and water. Their work has been featured in the New York Times, the Washington Post and other major media outlets.
