    Main Responsibilities: Aircraft structure analysis using Finite Element Method (Nastran & Patran).

    Technical Competencies:

    - Extensive experience in FEM modeling and static analysis of fuselage, wing, empennage, and other aircraft structure components in order to check the strength, stability and integrity.
    - Experience in preparing FEM document of aircraft metallic structure. Capability in composite part stress analysis will be an advantage.
    - Excellent in FEM modeling and processing using Patran & Nastran.
    - Familiarity to Catia V4/5 (3d Model).
    - Familiarity to Far/jar 23 & 25.
    - Knowledge of damage tolerance/fracture mechanics, failure criteria, reliability, design allowable development, and design criteria development.
    - Ability to use empirical data such as ESDU and Milstand.
    - Ability to evaluate and validate the FEM analysis result.
    - Excellent PC computer skills (Excel and word) and one program language.

    Education:

    - Minimum B.S. In Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering. Advanced engineering degree experience is desired.

    - Proficiency in English is a must. French and Portuguese are a plus.
