Job Description:
- Nuclear Onsite Health & Safety Supervision for large nuclear construction site
- oversee all trades / subcontractors to ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and legislation
- develop, implement and maintain health and safety policies and procedures and all related administrative controls
- conduct job hazard analysis for all job tasks and ensure development and implementation of safe work practices and procedures for each
- ensure use of required personal protective equipment
- ensure implementation of emergency evacuation and rescue plans
- elimination of unsafe work practices
- develop site specific safety plans and procedures
- issue safe work permits
- conduct site inspections and sampling and complete inspection reports
- assess and ensure completion of all required safety training
- arrange and/or conduct onsite safety training and safety talks
- conduct accident and incident investigations and report completion
- manage accident reporting, early return to work and modified work plans

Qualifications

Skills Required:
* Nuclear Site Construction / Health and Safety Management experience a MUST
* Knowledge of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act, and Construction Regulations and/or US OSHA and related regulations, and/or similar.

Language Requirements:
- English-Very Good
