The Marketing Assistant is responsible for executing marketing campaigns, maintaining current and accurate marketing collateral, driving public relations and special events as well as working on special projects for the department. This assistant also provides administrative support for the office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the execution of marketing, communication, and public relations plans and campaigns.
- Develop content for outbound communications, including websites, newsletter, trade shows, search, online advertising, print advertising and sales materials.
- Provide trade show marketing logistics support and coordination.
- Assist in the development and execution of webinar programs.
- Proofread marketing materials and technical documents.
- Conduct market research and analyze current trends.
- Responsible for monthly reporting and budget tracking.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings including venue, materials, presentations, agendas, notes, handouts, etc.
- Maintain and develop relationships with external media contacts.
- Provide administrative support to the office.
Salary: Stipend within first 3 months with further job employment.
Skills Required:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Technology or other related fields
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word as well as key graphics and web production tools & applications (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Superb organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize/complete projects in a timely manner
- Detail-oriented self starter with a strong desire to increase knowledge in the marketing field
