Major Responsibilities: (AP)
* Perform reconciliations (e.G. Bank, inter-company, sub-ledgers)
* Calculate and post accruals
* Create and process journal entries
* Run interfaces between different accounting systems / modules (if required)
* Maintain accounting codes / chart of accounts
* Process bank transactions
* Perform treasury and forecasting activities
* Communicate with client and sort issues / queries
* Perform month-end activities and close books
* Review accounts and perform account analysis (e.G. Actual versus budget)

Major Responsibilities: (GL)
* Match supplier invoices with purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
* Communicate with suppliers and sort queries
* Process transactions (invoices, credit notes)
* Perform supplier account reconciliations
* Prepare, initiate and perform payments
* Process travel & expense transactions
* Set-up and maintain supplier database
* Perform month-end activities and close books

Qualifications

* Advanced knowledge of one or more of these languages is required - German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Dutch, English
* English at a communicative level
* Secondary education or higher with Accountancy / Banking / Finance background
* User PC skills (knowledge of Oracle or SAP can be an advantage, but training is provided)
* Analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with strong problem solving abilities
* Ability to work on own initiative as well as within a team
* Open to new cultures and habits

Language Requirements:
* English must very good
