Job Description: In November 2008, Regus opened a new Regional Service Center in Prague and is currently looking for international candidates to reinforce our EMEA Support team.
Credit and Collections Coordinator with English and German and Hungarian or Turkish
or Credit and Collections Coordinator with English and Danish, Norwegian
will be responsible for the timely collection of outstanding invoices for a given territory within EMEA (currently 41 countries). Working as part of a team which is expected to grow to 25 people in a 3 year time frame, there will be regular contact with clients, the internal finance team, and the center staff of the designated territory. It is expected that as part of this process, Regus will achieve economies of scale by centralizing the credit and collections team in Prague, and removing responsibility for this from the individual canters. The EMEA DSO is expected to go down by between 10% and 20% as a result of this new project.
Major Responsibilities:
Managing customer relationships and understanding why certain invoices remain unpaid after their due date. Diplomatically agreeing with clients on the way forward to reduce outstanding debts. Following up on previous discussions and agreements, ensuring that payments have been recorded in a timely manner by the local accounting team. Ensuring a professional communication channel with the centers and the local accounting teams to make the result a team effort. Reporting performance to manager and know when to externalize the problem to the appropriate legal resource.
