The Business Affairs Manager will be responsible for qualifying approved Legal requests for contractual support for the network operations group within and the creation of or modifications to existing templates. This Manager will facilitate and be responsible for working with all functional areas and external partners or potential partners utilizing resources within the Legal department to ensure business principle agreement prior to the beginning of any language drafting processes. They will review documents/contracts to ensure that all parties involved in the agreement are accepting of the terms presented in the contract, before being able to proceed. This Manager will provide a Legal weekly document status summary highlighting expected delivery timeframes and key challenges in conjunction with the daily assignment notices. This individual will be available to support requests on a global basis, for which the legal department is responsible. The Business Affairs Manager will also be responsible for managing Service Level and Support contracts from a customer perspective. Some travel will be required.
Salary: Stipend within first 3 months with further job employment.
Essential Skills And Qualifications:
* Relevant Undergraduate Degree in the areas of Telecommunications or IT
* Understanding of contract management and negotiation
* Excellent team-building and negotiation skills
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Excellent writing and attention to detail abilities
* Strong technical aptitude
* Very analytical to be able to read and review contract agreements appropriately
* Proven ability to draft potential legal modifications would be an asset
