Ashton House is a luxurious bed and breakfast situated in the quiet residential area of Taylors Hill in Galway City offering quality accommodation and at a very competitive price. Salthill's famous promenade and beaches are a five minute walk and the city centre centre can be reached in about 3 minutes by car or cab.

Situated on the west side of Galway, Ashton House provides not only excellent access to the city but is also local to the wide array of recreational activities in and around Salthill. For example, golfing, horse riding, windsurfing and diving.
Taking a day trip into Connemara couldn't be easier, you can drive straight out scenic the coast road toward Spiddal and Rosaveal where you may take the plane or boat out to the picturesque Aran Islands. Alternatively, the road to Clifden, the capital of Connemara, is also easily accessed from here.

Ashton House is a large purpose built guest house with 3 family rooms, 3 double rooms and 5 twin rooms. All of our rooms are non-smoking. Breakfast is included as standard and you may select from an Irish or continental style breakfast as suits you each morning

Location

1. When you arrive in Galway, at the main roundabout simply follow signs towards "Clifden" and the "west"
2. Continue following these signs until you cross the River Corrib on the large, dual carriageway, Millenium Bridge
3. On the far side of the bridge you will reach a set of traffic lights.
4. Go straight through these lights to the next roundabout.
5. Take the third exit from this roundabout (straight on), past the petrol station to another set of lights.
6. Straight on again to another set of lights and straight through these to the last roundabout.
7. At this roundabout take the first exit (left) and then turn right
8. We are 100 yards further up on your left.
