Galen University

Galen has been the greatest experience of my college career. I love the small classes, caring professors, and the general environment of the University. It's a great place to be learning, enjoying one's self, and making friends all at the same time. On top of all of that, the countless activities to do around Belize outside of the University make it a semester everyone should be able to experience.

The program provided the opportunity for hands-on veterinary work that I wouldn't have the opportunity to do at home. The program is an amazing opportunity for all pre-vet students. I think other students at Mississippi State in my major & in the wildlife major would be very interested in the program, so I will definitely pass on the Information to my advisor, my pre-vet club, & my peers.

I had an amazing time & absolutely fell in love with this country. I'm going to recommend it to other younger students upon my return.

This is a program unlike any other. A great opportunity. There are no opportunities for us to participate in this kind of work in the states. I was able to do things that I never had the opportunity to do.

This whole experience has been nothing short of amazing. Everyone is beyond helpful and kind, and I have learned more about myself and the world than I ever thought I could in 4 months.

I met some great people and learned a lot about Belize and its many cultures. I got a chance to experience new places, foods and lifestyles. Most of all I had a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the group trips to the zoo, Hopkins, and Mountain Pine Ridge.
