NGO Management and Administration (August 2011)

This is an amazing project with exceptional people. I had a great time and am happy with the experience and the insight I was offered. This is a onetime opportunity to learn how to operate a small grasrouts NGO. The staff and fellow volunteers where very helpful and cooperative. In our freetime (specially weekends) I went on local tours and expeditions. This is one of the most beautiful regions I have seen traveling through South America. Also Santa Elena and the Gran Sabana are very safe and I felt completely comfortable walking even at night through the village! From the foundations grounds you have a breathtaking view over the Savannah and the table top mountains in the back. Accommodation is simple and comfortable. I enjoyed many great moments living together with local staff and volunteers. All together a great opportunity to work with a locals and international volunteers together for a great cause! A big "Thank you" to the staff and fellow volunteers! Saludos Alfredo
