* What Will I Be Doing?
No previous experience or special skills are required to work at the mobile school but you will need to be enthusiastic, willing to learn, ready for a challenge and have a desire to work with children. Friendliness, care, commitment and patience are among the most important qualities you should have. You will find that you will take delight in seeing the children's progress through interaction and play, as well as the charming nature of the bonds forged between children and volunteers.
You will be helping to plan and prepare the classes, and perform regular maintenance of the mobile school. Subjects that you will be teaching will include literacy, maths, creative therapy, health education and children's rights. You will also supervise sport, recreational and development activities and organise special events. You may also help with the school's administrative work such as reports, statistics, general planning and documentation.
* See some of the most striking terrain in South America!
* Immerse yourself in the local community.
* Make lifelong friends.
