Home of the fabulous mountain gorillas, Lake Victoria, and the Nile, Uganda is often called the "Pearl of Africa". It is a land where you can experience a truly welcoming culture and natural beauty without equal. Whether you're exploring Uganda's equatorial mountain forests, its island-dotted lakes, or its colourful, vibrant cities or spectacular game reserves you're sure to have an unforgettable experience.
* What Will I Be Doing?
You will be working on a "train the trainers" project in which you will train members of the community to become peer educators in HIV/AIDS, nutrition and to be counsellors. This is very important as it will enable the education and sensitisation programmes to continue after you leave Uganda.
The HIV/AIDS project also includes providing outreach to HIV/AIDS clients, which involves counselling, cooking, washing clothes, cleaning and delivering food supplies to those infected or affected by HIV/AIDS.
* Visit the "Pearl of Africa"!
* Help to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS.
* Make lifelong friends.

To conserve the world's most endangered wildlife and threatened habitats and to build sustainable livelihoods for marginalized and under resourced communities in the world's poorest countries. To create solutions that are apolitical, forward-thinking, community-driven, and innovative and which take into consideration the long-term needs of low income communities.
