  • Description

    Thailand has continued to be one of the most tempting destinations for those who are seeking a combination of enchanting natural surroundings, alluring culture, and incredible biodiversity. Breathtaking silvery beaches lapped by warm, crystal clear waters are complemented by friendly locals, mouth-watering local delicacies, and an ancient and fascinating historical heritage rooted in Buddhist origins.

    What Will I Be Doing?

    * Introduction Week
    Your introductory week is the first step towards a successful stay in Thailand and is designed specifically to ensure that you get the most possible out of the trip as a whole. Your culture, language and cooking lessons will help you to settle and feel more at home, and the temple and museum visits will give you a taste of the history of Thailand and the influences on the development of its national identity.

    * Volunteering & Cultural Experience
    There are a number of volunteering options available to you as part of this project. Take your pick from a wide variety of volunteering opportunities including helping out at a local orphanage, teaching at a local school or working on various construction projects in and around the local community. Throughout the duration of your programme you will have the opportunity to explore Thai culture in more depth, including learning about Buddhism and meditation and visiting monasteries and local markets. You will soon find yourself in touch with the spirit of Thailand, something that will stay with you forever.

    * Beach Break
    Your rest and recuperation comes in the form of your final week on Ko Samet, spending your days on the white sand beach, in the turquoise tropical sea, or lazing in the shade of the palm trees. The only thing required of you during this final week is that you relax and enjoy yourself! You'll find that you leave Thailand walking a little slower than when you arrived, and all your worries will be far away!
