Guatemala: Guatemala City
You'll study at a top language academy located in the historic city of Antigua. There, you'll be immersed in a rigorous programme taught by language professionals with more than ten years of experience. To liven up your study, you'll have lots of opportunity to engage in adventure activities and cultural excursions. Visit some of the hundreds of magnificent churches that adorn Antigua, search for ancient relics in museums, trawl through vibrant markets for curios and colourful blankets, climb to the rim of a still active volcano, pony trek through the highlands, or lie by the lake under a bright Guatemalan sun.
* What Will I Be Doing?
Classes are held Monday through Friday from 8:00 - 12:00 and 14:00 - 17:00.
Students and teachers work one-on-one, which allows each student to work at his/her individual level. We place particular emphasis on flexibility: students pick the areas they wish to emphasise conversation, comprehension, writing, etc. The school offers a relaxed tranquil environment. Some students enjoy working in the park or strolling through town with their professors. A few have even been known to study over a beer in a local cantina!
