  • Description

Travel to the tropical paradise that is Costa Rica and take part in a cultural immersion project that will involve a teaching and language exchange and integration with the local community that will leave you forever in love with the people, the landscapes, beaches, rainforests, volcanoes, and wildlife that this magical destination has to offer. Teaching English and coaching sports will give you an insight into the local culture that your ever improving Spanish will enable you to really explore, and extracurricular trips around the villages and towns will immerse you in a world of adventure sports, tremendous natural beauty, great food, lively music, and laid-back people.

    * What Will I Be Doing?

Your first week will be spent at the language centre where your focus will be to learn as much Spanish as possible. This will bring you the greatest benefit for the rest of your time in Costa Rica.

You will then be given a full orientation before heading out to a picturesque local village on the Pacific coast, 40 minutes outside of San Jose where you will be working closely with the local school. You will spend your time teaching English at the school as well as coaching sports to the youngsters and local teams as well as continuing to improve your Spanish every day with your interaction with the local community.
