Teach friendly children and discover Cameroon's fascinating culture! Surrounded by mountains, rainforest, waterfalls and lakes, a world of adventure awaits you! Learn to dance to the popular makossa music or enjoy a freshly cooked yam as you stroll through the colourful streets, soaking up the rich flavour and colour of one of West Africa's most diverse countries. Your placement will introduce you into this vibrant environment as a member of the community so much so that you may find you never want to leave!
* What Will I Be Doing?
Your exciting work day will begin at 8am. Teaching various classes, you'll get to interact with a wide range of children and teachers. School finishes at 2:30, giving you the evenings to enjoy with your friends, wandering the lovely tree-lined streets and exploring the tremendous natural beauty of the surrounding area.
* What Happens When I Arrive?
You will be greeted at the airport in Douala by a friendly Frontier representative. You will travel the 134 mile journey to your project location in Bamenda in the North West Province using the safe and reliable bus service.
