  • Description

    -- With us, you have a chance to acquire thorough skills in Adobe PhotoShop and/or InDesign.
    -- We work on high-performance workstations with the latest software
    -- We have a very friendly, young team.
    -- You are personally supervised and trained by the company owner and experienced staff.
    -- We work in a nice house with a big garden. In summer, we have lunch in the garden together.
    -- We offer you a chance to see something of Germany and Europe.

    -- With these internships, we address students in the fields of graphic design, photography, publishing or marketing in the first place. But even when you have nor formal education or if you are not studying right now, we encourage you to apply, if you have the basic skills as listed below.

    What we expect from you:
    -- Basic skills in PhotoShop and/or InDesign
    -- Affinity with photography, art and books
    -- You like to work in a team and learn something new
    -- Accurate style of working

    Our internships function on a volunteer basis. But instead of cash, we offer you:
    -- intensive hands-on training and personal supervision by experienced staff
    -- free lodging in a nice room with your extra private bathroom
    -- one week holidays every month (!), so that you can see something of Germany and the rest of Europe
    -- creative work in a young team, in a nice house with a big garden
    -- every day at noon, we cook a warm meal, at no cost to our interns
    -- in our company, everyone speaks English.. but if you feel like it, you can practice and learn German, Dutch and/or Russian every day here!

    NOTE:

    Right now, we are preparing our book projects for printing an offer internships to young people with basic skills in Adobe PhotoShop and/or InDesign. During your internship here, you will acquire advanced skills.

    We expect you can speak either English or German fluently.

    You like to work in a team.

    You can work accurately.

  • Program Fees Include:

    -- We offer free lodging in a nice room with private bathroom and free meals at our company's premises.
    -- We expect that you finance your flight/travel, your health insurance/travel insurance and your leisure activities on your own account.
    -- We allow you one week holiday per month, so that you will have a good chance to travel in Europe.
    (Munich is centrally located in Europe, so that you can visit any European country quite easily when you work here with us)
    -- You will have a chance to practice your German, Dutch and/or Russion while working with us, if you wish so; otherwise, English will be your working language.
    -- We will help you to feel at home here and invite you to take part in our own leisure & cultural activities, if you like so.

  • Experience Required

      We expect that you already have basic skills in PhotoShop. This means, you can make a selection with the Lasso or Magic Wand Tool, you know what a Layer and a Layer Mask is. We will ask you to show us some work examples by email or as online work during the application process. Additionally or alternatively, you already have basic skills in Adobe Indesign and can implement basic lay-out designs.

Provided you have the basic skills as listed above, your enthusiasm counts more than the grades you have made at school or university or previous work experience. You feel at home in a young team, but you are able to concentrate on the projects you are in charge of.
