  • Description

    FSD provides college students and professionals with the opportunity to gain practical hands-on experience through interning with one of our local partner organizations. As part of an integrated program that includes a family homestay, orientation and evaluation sessions, organization grants, and ongoing program support, participants will be able to embrace all that their host country has to offer. Internships are available in a variety of areas, including; Health, Nutrition, Education, Youth Development, Human Rights, Women's Issues, Environment/Conservation, Marketing, Microfinance, Agriculture, and many more.

    Founded in 1995, the Foundation for Sustainable Development (FSD) supports the efforts of more than 300 grassroots, community-based partner organizations throughout Africa, Asia, and Latin America. FSD's programs provide multi-faceted support that relies on active community participation to mobilize lasting solutions. FSD programs include:
