    Forest and Agro forestry promoters (FAP) is a non political, non profit making, non racial and non governmental organisation, created in May 2001 in Cameroon by group of conservationist who have interest in conserving the natural resources of the western highlands of Cameroon. The head office is located in Ndop Ngoketunjia division Of the North West province of Cameroon.

    FAP work is to help communities in the Western Highlands of Cameroon in the conservation and the sustainable management of natural resources.

    FAP can also organise visits or tours for large or small groups to (for example) see the hippopotamuses and visit island communities on the lake at Baminjin, or to visit the forests. These visits are organised with the local communities, and give visitors a chance to experience the best that the area has to offer while supporting these communities in sustainable ways.

  • Qualifications

    * Field staff working with communities.
    * Degree or doctor in agriculture, tourism, Environment, livestock and in any community development field.
