    This Gibraltar head quartered Bank and pre paid financial products provider is looking to recruit a Regulatory Counsel to work with its operations and compliance department.

    The Regulatory Counsel reports directly to the senior management in Gibraltar and New York. The main responsibilities of this well paid offshore banking job are centred upon ensuring the company adheres to local financial regulation in the European markets they operate in and that the internal regulatory policies are in compliance with these guidelines and laws. In effect this is an advisory job combining being the central source of regulatory knowledge for senior management and your fellow compliance professionals and maintaining the policies the entire company follows.

    A great deal of your time will be spent analyzing, drafting and reviewing documentation. You can also expect to be the company's liaison with the Gibraltar regulators and across the other markets.

    To be considered for the Regulatory Counsel position you will have experienced in regulatory implementation for a financial services organisation. This skill set will display itself in your strong policy and documentation reviewing skills and your track record in assisting companies in implementing financial regulation. Ideally this regulatory experience will be from a mix of Gibraltar and other European financial jurisdictions.

    It is expected the successful applicant will have a legal background, having worked in practice on behalf of clients from the banking, insurance, fund or offshore finance sectors. Alternatively you may have been in house counsel to a large financial service provider.
