Fontbonne is home to some 3,000 students on a beautiful campus in the heart of St. Louis, Missouri - a thriving, metropolitan area with more than 2.9 million residents. Of course it's more than caring people and a great campus that attract students from across the U.S. and many other countries. We have a longstanding tradition of high quality academic programs offered in a values-based environment established by our founders and sponsors, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Our 28 majors, 18 minors and 11 master's degree programs span a wide range of offerings, from the nationally known deaf education major to top notch programs in fine arts, education, communication disorders, dietetics, business, English and communications, and more.

The focus at Fontbonne is on teaching and that means professors devote their time to creating and delivering a curriculum that best serves their students. Our excellent student-faculty ratio creates ideal opportunities for discussion and personal attention.
