Our client is a leading retail group of companies operating across Saudi Arabia. They operate across the Kingdom with a large multicultural workforce and many retail sales outlets.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Services Manager to lead their growing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Definition/ implementation of the logistics strategy: in sourcing or outsourcing, number and location of warehouses, transport means, distribution schemes
* Management and optimization of global distribution costs: co negotiation with suppliers (with Purchasing)
* Physical management of inventory/products
* Inventories, FIFO, Service level agreements with industrial function on quarantine, finished products availability (after quality check) , Deployment plan execution
* If relevant: management of relationships with Third party logistics suppliers: Contract definition (with purchasing), Contract follow up (KPIs, performance animation...)
* Manage and develop logistics resources/ teams
* Contribute with customer service to customer partnerships/ relations

Essential Requirements:
* 10 years of experience; some or all of which has been in the Supermarkets, Food or FMCG sector
* Strong experience in distribution and warehousing of food stuff
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills
* Excellent PC skills, email, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint
