We are looking for Preschool/Kindergarten homeroom teachers who are enthusiastic, creative, and who love children. Applicants who have a teaching certificate, degree in education, and/or teaching experience are preferred. The age range of the students is 3-5 years old.
Duties and responsibilities include providing instruction in English for all subjects; preparing hands-on, age-appropriate lessons; communicating with parents; assisting with and participating in school activities and events; filling out student progress reports and/or report cards; and general classroom duties. The homeroom teacher is the main teacher, and is responsible for the day to day activities and lessons in the classroom, classroom management and discipline, and student reports.
About our Students and our School
Felice is an international English immersion school for children from 2 to 12 years old. We are NOT an English conversation school, but an immersion preschool and elementary school. 90% of our students are Japanese children who have learned English for more than 1 year in an immersion environment at school. Felice is pronounced Fe-Lee-CHE("ch" as change). We are located in Gunma Prefecture which is about 60miles (100km) from Tokyo. This is a 2 year, renewable contract.

Housing:
*Felice provides furnished apartments, however teachers are responsible for paying rent. Rent ranges from 50,000-60,000yen/month
*A typical apartment is 1 bedroom+1 living room & kitchen + bathroom, about 30m2.
* A bonus will be paid at the end of the every school year (March), upon completion of the contract.
*Health insurance (70%coverage): School will pay half of the premium.
Holidays:
Summer: 2 weeks
Winter: approximately 5 days
Spring: approximately 3 days
National Holidays: approx. 10 days/year (based on the Japanese calendar)
Paid Holidays: 10 days (including sick leave)
