Fast Forward Language Institute works alongside several organizations throughout Brazil to provide international students with a practical, supervised, paid internship, offering full support every step of the way.
It is our goal to match students with the most suitable positions for their academic and professional profile.
Paid internship positions are available in all areas of study and across Brazil. Start dates for programs throughout Brazil are available year-round and students from around the world are welcome to participate!

Brazil is the fastest growing and most politically stable country in Latin America, and home of the world's largest Portuguese-speaking population, the 5th most spoken language in the world.
Your time in Brazil will be an exhilarating and rewarding experience, improving your professional and personal skills, while opening your mind to new environments, developing important intercultural competency.
Young adults, from 18 to 30 years old, who are currently pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate studies and who are fluent in a language other than Portuguese may apply. Positions for fluent English-speakers are more readily available.

To get the most out of the internship experience, students are required to enroll in Portuguese classes prior to starting any of the placements:
* Former Fast Forward Students must register for at least 4 weeks of classes
* New or Beginner Students must register for a minimum of 8 weeks of classes
* Students with advanced-level Portuguese or Spanish must register for at least 6 weeks

Trainees will receive a stipend to cover local, daily expenses. Some companies may also provide benefits to cover local transportation or meals, but this is not the rule. Participants should not expect to save money during their stay.

Since 1991, Fast Forward has been devoted to providing high quality and personalized instruction in Portuguese for foreigners. At Fast Forward we are committed to excellence. All of our teachers are professional and experienced native instructors, university graduated and trained in Fast Forward's direct approach to language teaching. Our instructors are from various parts of Brazil, allowing for exposure to different accents, expressions and styles of teaching.
