    Galway, the third largest city in the Republic of Ireland, is located on Ireland's west coast and is one of Europe's fastest growing cities. Galway is known as the cultural capital of Ireland because of its pioneering role in theater, arts, and culture. While Galway's economy and population continue to grow, it remains a small city that is easily navigated on foot. At the National University of Ireland at Galway, there are a wide variety of courses from which to choose. You'll receive Fairfield University credit and grades for all coursework.

    Yes Fairfield University students who receive financial aid, grants, scholarships, and loans will continue to receive all aid except the following: athletic scholarships and work study monies. Children of employees will receive partial benefits for their semester in Galway. For external students - Fairfield University will make a good faith effort to work with you if you are the recipient of scholarships/financial aid at your home college or university and wish to have these funds transferred to cover your expenses at our program.
